By accessing or using MechanicToMe's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
MechanicToMe is a platform that connects customers with independent mobile mechanics for car repair and maintenance services. We facilitate the connection but do not directly perform mechanical work.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features of our service, you may need to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
- Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4. Service Requests and Quotes
- Service requests submitted through our platform are sent to mechanics in your area.
- Quotes provided are estimates and may vary based on actual conditions.
- Final pricing is agreed upon between you and the mechanic.
- We do not guarantee availability of mechanics at specific times.
5. Payments
- Payment for services is made directly to the mechanic upon completion.
- We accept various payment methods including credit cards and bank transfers.
- Mechanics set their own rates; we do not control pricing.
6. Mechanic Network
Mechanics in our network are independent contractors, not employees of MechanicToMe. While we verify credentials and qualifications, we do not guarantee the quality of work performed.
7. Warranty
Services performed by mechanics in our network come with a 12-month warranty on parts and labor. Warranty claims should be directed to the mechanic who performed the service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MechanicToMe shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Actions or omissions of mechanics in our network
- Service interruptions or website unavailability
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MechanicToMe, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our services or violation of these terms.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of MechanicToMe and protected by Australian copyright law.
11. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use our services for any unlawful purpose
- Submit false or misleading information
- Interfere with the proper functioning of our website
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation in accordance with Australian law.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
